At MHBI we're in the process of developing a comprehensive inspection process for pre-installed solar PV array electrical systems (stand-alone or integrated), and solar hot water systems. One we have completed development of our inspection process and standards, we will be setting up a paid fee structure for the inspections. With the plethora of recently installed residential and commercial solar PV systems, we felt it was time to begin inspection these systems on homes and businesses that go through real estate transfer transactions. The complexity of the systems and the number of vendors and separately manufactured components necessitates a number of training requirements to properly inspect, evaluate, and test the systems.
